It's Called "Life"

About 6 weeks into the year and just about all of the big things that can happen in people's lives has happened in our family in one way or another! Check it out.

-We had a death as Aj's Grandfather passed away.

But we rejoiced together as we know Da loved the Lord and trusted in Christ for his life!

-A new cousin was born as the Agorrilla's had their first baby.

Their sweet Emi Sumiko.

-Grampy went downhill very quickly and is now in hospice care.

Although Grampy is going through a lot inside his body and with his feet, he has been so animated each day with all of the great visitors he gets to see. He has been feeling very loved.

-The Jesse Roysters came down from Washington to see Grampy and helped out a ton.

Because of different circumstances they actually ended up staying another couple of days to help with a few things. It was a very busy visit and we had to say goodbye last night as they drove back home this morning. That part wasn't fun. But I'm thankful that they have scheduled time to be here for Christmas!

-The Tommy Roysters moved into a new house.

I only got to stop by there for a short time and didn't get any photos of it so far. But it's bigger and they were excited about it. =)

-Dad had some changes at work.

I also don't have any photos for this one. But it was a big event and he is now working at the station AJ works at.

-Aunt La La has quit her job to take care of the grandparents full time. Her and Jared will be moving in with the grandparents.

No photos for this one either. But you get the picture. =)

-Heather turned 20 this month!

She and I are 18 months apart so now until July she and I are only "a year apart". =)

And finally- The Greenes are moving into the new house with the Waks! =)

We get to start moving in next week! This move means a lot to us. We covered this in prayer and talked about the pros and cons many times together and when Mom and I got to talk to the landlady (who is the same as the one they are currently renting from) and she was for it we were very excited. God totally answered our prayers and we see it as a green light!
In case anyone is curious or is even wondering, this move is not because AJ and I can't afford to live on our own, but it's actually an opportunity for both my parents and us to save money as we share the rent. Which we are very excited about! The situation is ideal and we are so thankful we get along so well with my parents and that God has just gifted them to be so balanced and wise that we can move in confidently that both our marriages are strong and we are always open and willing to talk about any issues that occur. We pray and trust wholly in the Lord that he will lead and guide us as we go.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Many jokes about throwing in a bunch of other crazy things have made us laugh through the stress of it all. Many tears from probably every member of the family have been shed for various reasons and it takes a while for all of it to sink for us. But we really thank God that He is in control. If we couldn't trust God I dunno what we would do! He holds us together as we trust in Him! And we feel His love toward us as we get to watch Him answer our prayers!

Foreseeable up ahead?

-Sammi will graduate High School this spring! AND turns 18 in October!

-I am going to be nannying Emi just about full time come May as Auntie Crystal has to return to work.

-We'll get to see the Roysters again at Christmas time (hopefully!)!

And based on the way this year has turned out- we dunno what else God has in store! We just get to wait in His wings and His timing and see! =) I'm excited!

  1. Many very big things in life for your family right now. Many opportunities to learn and help others! I hope you enjoy living with your parents, that would be a dream of mine although I doubt it will ever happen. Still praying for Grampy as he is struggling, and praying for everyone involved to have grace and kindness (especially Mrs. B!). I wish I was closer so I could help with packing, moving, adjusting... I look forward to being home for a longer time soon so I can actually spend some time with all the people I miss very greatly.
